Jerry Totten K8JRO

I was licensed as KN8JRO in 1958 and upped to a Tech the next year. Then General then Advanced. Then Extra to keep full CW privileges when inventive licensing came in.

I joined the MI QRP club at the annual meeting at Muskegon many years ago. Ralph Burch was one of the original founders and I believe he was still president at that time. I had already discovered the joy of using low power on 80 and 40 meter CW so joining MI-QRP was a natural.

I have served several terms as President of MI QRP and editor and publisher of The Five Watter. I also was NCS for the Tuesday Night net on 3535 for many years. It has always been my objective to keep the club operating and stable. Also to maintain it as a venue for spreading the message that QRP is a lot more fun than QRO.
